Climate neutral employers are becoming more important for employees
In Germany, more and more employees regard it as important that their employer becomes climate neutral. This is the result of a representative survey of employees conducted by the opinion research institute Civey in October 2021 on behalf of the Berlin-based company Cozero.
"Climate protection is increasingly becoming a decisive factor when choosing a job," says Helen Tacke, founder and CEO of Cozero. "Events such as this year's flood disaster ensure that the topic of climate protection is finding its way into the workplace.”
41% of the employees surveyed said it was important to them that their employer was trying to become climate neutral. In the previous year, the figure was 39%.
Climate protection in companies should not just be marketing. For employees and employers alike, it is important that the planned climate protection measures are serious and sustainable. In the future, climate protection should be more than just trendy marketing."
The transformation process to climate neutrality in companies is demanding and can only be managed sustainably with the support of a digital solution. When it comes to climate protection, data and software are the raw materials for real change, which in the long term requires only minor compensation measures such as CO2 certificates," concludes Helen Tacke.
The representative survey was conducted by the opinion research institute Civey on behalf of Cozero GmbH among 2,001 employees in the survey period from October 08 to October 10, 2021. We happily provide you with further data.
